We are excited about serving our community and welcoming new members to small groups meeting in homes across the city.We celebrated 100 years in ministry in March of last year and find that we are ready to start a new era of ministry at First Christian. One of our members has committed to providing breakfast for the community one Saturday a month. He and his team feel it is a way to give back for the blessings they have received from God.
PASTOR OF FIRST CHRISTIAN On January 14, 2007, the Reverend Greg Shaw was officially installed as the pastor of First Christian Church in Winter Haven. The Rev. Bill Morrison, Regional Minister of the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Florida, presented Rev. Shaw with a special stole that symbolized his installation. Rev. Shaw has served First Christian since April 2nd of 2006.
